Cypriniformes is an order o ray-finned fish, includin the cairps, minnons, loaches an relatives. This order conteens 11-12 faimilies, ower 400 genera, an mair nor 4,250 species, wi new species bein describit every few months or so, an new genera bein recognised frequently.[2][3] Thay are maist diverse in sootheastren Aisie, but are entirely absent frae Austrailie an Sooth Americae.[4]
