In Greek meethology, Agamemnon (Greek: Ἀγαμέμνων frae *Ἀγαμέδμων (frae ἄγαν, "verra muckle" an μέδομαι, "think on"),[1] "very steadfast") wis the son o king Atreus an queen Aerope o Mycenae, the brither o Menelaus, the husband o Clytemnestra an the faither o Iphigenia, Electra or Laodike (Λαοδίκη), Orestes an Chrysothemis.[2]
