Ähtäri (Swadish: Etseri) is a toun an municipality o Finland.
It is locatit in the Soothren Ostrobothnie region. The toun haes a population o 5,385 (28 Februar 2023)[2] an covers an aurie o 910.87 square kilometre (351.69 sq mi) o which 105 km2 (41 sq mi) is watter.[1] The population densitie is 6.69 inhabitants per square kilometre (17.3/sq mi).
The municipality is unilingual Finnish.
Ähtäri is kent for tourism. Thare is a zoo an hotel Mesikämmen designed bi Timo an Tuomo Suomalainen which is pairtly built athin bedrock. The biggest lake in the aurie is Ähtärinjärvi. Thare is a relatively auld an sma buird mill cried Vääräkosken Pahvi in Ähtäri.
