Limousin (French pronunciation: [limuzɛ̃]; Occitan: Lemosin) is ane o the 27 regions o France. It is composed o three départements: Corrèze, Creuse an the Haute-Vienne.
Situated lairgely in the Massif Central, as o Januar 1st 2008, the Limousin comprised 740,743 inhabitants on nearly 17 000 km2, makkin it the seicont least populatit region o Fraunce efter Corsica.
Formin pairt o the Sooth-Wast o Fraunce, Limousin is bordered bi the regions Centre tae the north, Poitou-Charentes an Aquitaine tae the wast, Midi-Pyrénées tae the sooth an Auvergne tae the east. Limousin an aw forms pairt o Occitania.
