The wastren black rhinoceros (Diceros bicornis longipes) or Wast African black rhinoceros is a subspecies o the black rhinoceros, declared extinct bi the IUCN in 2011.[1][2] The wastren black rhinoceros wis believit tae hae been genetically different frae ither rhino subspecies.[3] It wis ance widespread in the savanna o sub-Saharan Africae, but its nummers declined due tae poachin. The wastren black rhinoceros residit primarily in Cameroon, but surveys syne 2006 hae failed tae locate ony indwallers.
