Tupou VI (full name: ʻAhoʻeitu ʻUnuakiʻotonga Tukuʻaho Tupou VI; born 12 July 1959) is the Keeng o Tonga. He is the younger brither an successor o the late King George Tupou V. He wis offeecially confirmed bi his brither on 27 September 2006 as the heir presumptive tae the Tongan throne, as his brither (a bachelor) haed na legitimate childer.[2] He served as Tonga's Heich Commissioner tae Australie, an resided in Canberra[3][4] till the daith o King George Tupou V on 18 Mairch 2012, when ʻAhoʻeitu ʻUnuakiʻotonga Tukuʻaho acame King o Tonga, wi the regnal name Tupou VI.[5]
