Recyclin is a process tae chynge waste materials intae new products tae prevent waste o potentially uisefu materials, reduce the consumption o fresh raw materials, reduce energy uisage, reduce air pollution (frae incineration) an watter pollution (frae laundfillin) bi reducin the need for "conventional" waste disposal, an lawer greenhoose gas emissions as compared tae plastic production.^[1]^[2]
