The Orkneyinga saga (cried the History o the Earls o Orkney an aw) is an historical narrative o the history o the Orkney Islands, frae thair captur bi the Norse king in the nint century onwart till aboot 1200.[1] The saga haes "na parallel in the social an leeterar record o Scotland".[2]
