Mezquitic is a toun an municipality in the north o the state o Jalisco, Mexico.
It is bordered tae the north east an wast bi the state o Zacatecas. It shares its northren border wi the municipality o Huejuquilla El Alto an an an it shares its soothren border wi the municipalities o Villa Guerrero an Bolaños.
The municipality includes a nummer o autonomously govrened Wixárika (Huichol) commonties, includin San Andrés Cohamiata.
