The Komodo draigon[4] (Varanus komodoensis), kent as the Komodo monitor an aw, is a lairge species o lizard foond in the Indonesie islands o Komodo, Rinca, Flores, Gili Motang, an Padar.[5] A member o the monitor lizard faimily Varanidae, it is the lairgest livin species o lizard, growin tae a maximum lenth o 3 metre (10 ft) in rare cases an wechin up tae approximately 70 kilogram (150 lb).[5]
