The KORKUT is a Turkis aw-wather-capable 35 mm self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (SPAAG) developit bi ASELSAN.[1][2][3][4]
Designed tae replace tae agin M42A1 Duster seestems o the Turkis Airmed Forces, each Korkut seestem compromises o 1 command an control vehicle an 3 wappen platforms. Each wappen platform cairies a twin 2×35 mm Oerlikon KDC-02 cannon, manufactured unner licence bi MKEK. Each wappen seestem can fire up tae 1100 roonds a minute up tae a range o 4 km. The command an control vehicle haes an effective radar range o 70 km. The Wappen Seestem Vehicle an Command-an-Control Vehicle confeegurations designed unner the Korkut Project are based on the FNSS ACV-30[5] an is fully amphibious an hae the capability o propellin thaimsels in deep watter an rivers.
The Turkis Airmed Forces haes ordered 40 wappens seestems, deliveries are scheduled tae complete in 2022. Addeetionally it wis reportit that Pakistan Plans tae induct this wappen seestem an that Pakistan waud conduct tests in mid 2017.
