It is strangly split, conteenin a considerable nummer o tribes o which maist are presently vera smaw or monotypic, housomeivver. These smaw mochs are aften a licht bluish green, leadin tae the common name o emerald moths, tho a few species cried thus are forbye foond in the tribe Campaeini o the Ennominae.
Thare are aboot 2,300 describit species, maistly frae the tropics.
