Generation is the act o producin affspring. In kinship terminology, it is a structural term designatin the parent-child relationship. It is an aa kent as biogenesis, reproduction, or procreation in the biological sciences. The term is an aa eften uised synonymously wi cohort in social science; unner this formulation the term means "fowk within a delineatit population who experience the same signeeficant events within a gien period o time".[1]
