Funeral Mist is a black metal baund formit in Stockholm, Swaden in 1993.

The baund in its oreeginal form comprised vocalist an guitarist Typhos (a.k.a. Henrik Ekeroth), guitarist Vintras an drummer Velion. Bass player Arioch (i.e. Daniel Rostén) wis addit somewha later.

Their debut gig teuk place in 1995 an that same year saw the issuin o their first demo entitled Darkness. The baund's line-up also startit tae change during this year, as drummer Velion wis fired an Necromorbus (Tore Stjerna) took his role. The seicont demo Havoc followed in 1996, the same year that the baund also lost guitarist Typhos to the Swadish baund Dark Funeral. Sangs that wur written for Arioch’s side project, Winds, wur usied on this demo.

In 1997, Vintras left the baund due tae personal differences an aw, an Funeral Mist wis now doun tae anerlie a duo consistin o Arioch an Necromorbus. The debut EP Devilry wis released in 1998 an wis issued in baith CD an vinyl format. The vinyl edition wis limited tae anerlie 300 copies an featured an exclusive track, Hellspell 2. This track wis later includit on the 2005 Devilry/Havoc compilation album. Efter this release that same year, guitarist Nachash wis addit tae the band. Their first full-length album, Salvation, wis released on the Norma Evangelium Diaboli label in 2003, while the seicont album, entitled Maranatha, wis released in Februar 2009 on the same label, efter 6 years o silence.
