The exosphere (Auncient Greek: ἔξω éxō "ootside, freemit, ayont", Auncient Greek: σφαῖρα sphaĩra "sphere") is a thin, atmosphere-lik volume surroondin a planet or naitural satellite whaur molecules are gravitationally boond tae that bouk, but whaur the density is too law for them tae behave as a gas bi collidin wi each ither.
