Escobedo is a ceety in the northren Mexican state o Coahuila. It is locatit in the state's central region (Región Centro), aboot 50 km north o Monclova. The ceety serves as the municipal seat for the surroondin municipality o the same name. The name "Escobedo" honours 19t-century leeberal statesman Mariano Escobedo.[1]
Escobedo haed 2,791 inhabitants in 2000.
The Ford Motor Company haes a commercial larrie assembly plant in Escobedo.
