Capulalpam de Méndez is a toun an municipality in the Sierra Juárez in Oaxaca in sooth-wastren Mexico. It is pairt o the Ixtlán Destrict in the Sierra Norte de Oaxaca region. The name "Capulalpam" in Nahuatl means "Laund o the chokecherry tree" - a common teep o tree in the aurie.[1]
