Vratsa Province (Bulgarie: Област Враца (Oblast Vratsa), umwhile name Vratsa okrug) is a Bulgarie province locatit in the northwastren pairt o the kintra, atween Danube river in the north an Stara Planina muntain in the sooth. It is namit efter its main toun - Vratsa. As o December 2009, the province haes a population o 196,829 inhabitants,[1][2][3] on territory of 3,619.7 km².

The Vratsa province haed a population o 243,036 accordin tae a 2001 census, o which 49.1% wur male an 50.9% wur female.[6] As o the end o 2009, the population o the province, annooncit bi the Bulgarie Naitional Statistical Institute, numbered 196,829[1] o which 27.2% are inhabitants agit ower 60 years.[7]
