Päijänne Tavastia (Finnish: Päijät-Häme‎; Swadish: Päijänne Tavastland‎) is a region in Southern Finland south of the lake Päijänne. It borders the regions Uusimaa, Tavastia Proper, Pirkanmaa, Central Finland, Southern Savonia, Kymenlaakso, and Eastern Uusimaa.
