Namangan

Namangan (Uzbek: Namangan / Наманган; Roushie: Наманган‎) is the third-lairgest ceety in Uzbekistan (2006 pop. 432,456.). It is the caipital o Namangan Province, in the northren edge o Fergana Valley o north-eastren Uzbekistan.

Geography

Namangan is aboot 300 km east o Tashkent, aboot 65 km wast o Andijan, an aboot 75 km north o Fergana. It is locatit at 40.98°N 71.58°E / 40.98; 71.58 1561 feet (476 meters) abuin sea level.
