The International Federation o Sports Chiropractic (French: Federation Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport or FICS) is an international organization which promotes sports chiropractic aroond the world. It is composed o national sports chiropractic cooncils, or national associations, fae mainy countries such as Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, Mexico, Spain, Turkey, Unitit States, an the Unitit Kingdom.[1][2][3]

FICS wis formed in 1987, an haes its headquarters in the Maison du Sport Internationale in Lausanne, Switzerland.[4] It also maintains an administrative office in Canberra, Australia.[5]

The International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic (ICSC) offers an International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic (ICSC), a post-graduate professional qualification in sports chiropractic.[6] Dependin oan the laws o the jurisdiction in which the Doctor practices, (ICSC) may be a requirement fur a chiropractor tae participate as a FICS sports chiropractor at an international event.[7][8] Fur example, Sports Chiropractors must complete thir ICSC befare bein selectit tae provide care at Sporting Federation Games.

These awards include "Sports Chiropractor of the Year"[9]an FICS' Gold Medal.[10] The latter is considered wan o the highest awards that sports chiropractors cin earn internationally.

In 2011 at the World Chiropractic Congress, in Rio de Janeiro, they awarded the "FICS' Founder's Award" tae Dr. Stephen Press, wan of FICS' founder ann first president.[11][12]
