Ghazni (Pashto: غزني) (Persian: غزنی) is ane o the thirty-fower provinces o Afghanistan. Babur records in his Babur-Nama that Ghazni is an aw kent as Zabulistan[1] It is in the east o the kintra. Its caipital is Ghazni Ceety. The province lees on the important Kabul tae Kandahar road, an haes historically functioned as an important trade center atween those twa major ceeties.
