Indonesie invadit East Timor in 1975 an annexed it the follaein year as its 27t province o Timor Timur. Durin this period, Timor Timur haed its awn coat o airms which remained in uise till Indonesie rescinded its annexation in 1999. The airms consistit o a gowden shield containin wreaths o wheat an cotton enclosin a blue roundel containin a stylized traditional East Timor hoose. This wis surmuntit bi a blue shield depictin a gowd starn representin the faith in ane God. Belaw the roondel appeared a traditional Timorese heiddress (Kaibauk) bearin the inscription "Timor Timur".
