Lady Grizel Baillie (née Hume; 25 December 1665 – 6 December 1746) wis a Scots sangwriter.[1] She wis born at Redbraes Castle tae Sir Patrick Hume, later Earl o Marchmont an Grisell Ker.[1] Her maist kenspeckled sang wis "And werena my heart light I wad dee", that wis in William Thomson's Orpheus Caledonius, or a Collection of the Best Scotch Songs (1725)[2]
