English: George Square and Glasgow City Chambers in Glasgow, Scotland. Of the statues visible in the photograph, Walter Scott stands on the pillar, and on the nearest plinth: Robert Burns (1877, by George Edwin Ewing, reliefs by J A Ewing, cast by Cox and Son). The red sandstone building to the left of the City Chambers is part of the University of Strathclyde.
