Quneitra (an aw Al Qunaytirah, Qunaitira, or Kuneitra; Arabic: القنيطرة al-Qunayṭrah) is the lairgely destroyed an abandoned caipital o the Quneitra Govrenorate in sooth-wastren Sirie. It is situatit in a heich valley in the Golan Heights at an elevation o 1,010 metres (3,313 feet)[1] abuin sea level. Its name is Arabic for "the little brig".[3]
