Efter the referendum o 2006, 7 municipalities o Montefeltro wur detached frae the Province tae join the Province o Rimini (Emilia-Romagna) on 15 August 2009[1][2]. The municipalities are Casteldelci, Maiolo, Novafeltria, Pennabilli, San Leo, Sant'Agata Feltria an Talamello.
