Pablo Neruda (Spanish: [ˈpaβ̞lo̞ ne̞ˈɾuð̞a]; 12 Julie 1904 – 23 September 1973) wis the pen name an, later, legal name o the Chilean poet, diplomat an politician Neftali Ricardo Reyes Basoalto. He chose his pen name efter Czech poet Jan Neruda. In 1971 Neruda wan the Nobel Prize for Leeteratur.
