The Balearic Islands (Inglis /ˌbæliˈærɨk ˈaɪləndz/; Catalan: Illes Balears [ˈiʎəz βəɫəˈas]; Spainyie: Islas Baleares [ˈizlaz βaleˈaɾes])[1] are an airchipelago o Spain in the wastren Mediterranean Sea, near the eastren coast o the Iberie Peninsulae.
