Årjäng Municipality (Årjängs kommun) is a municipality in Värmland Coonty in wast central Swaden, borderin Norawa. Its seat is locatit in the toun o Årjäng.
A separate local govrenment entity namit Årjäng wis creatit in 1941 when it wis detached frae Silbodal. In 1952 the twa wur reunitit unner the name o Årjäng. In 1971 Sillerud an Holmedal wur amalgamatit wi Årjäng. In 1974 Töcksmark wis addit, expandin the municipality tae its current size.
