Sweetheart Abbey
The Abbey of Dulce Cor, better kennt as Sweetheart Abbey (Gd: An Abaid Ur), wis a Cistercian monastery foundit in 1275 in whit is nou the veillage o New Abbey, in the historical coonty o Kirkcoubrieshire in Dumfries and Gallowa, 8 mile (13 km) sooth of Dumfries.[1]
