Malkiya (Arabic: المالكية) is a veelage that lies on the wastren coast o Bahrain Island in Bahrain. Its inhabitants are maistly Bahrani Shiites. The veelage is hame tae the Malkiya Club fitbaa team.
In 2007, protests brak oot in the aurie when a pouerful member o the Bahraini ryal family tried tae seize some o the coastline o the veelage.[1][2]
The veelage is an aa hame tae the grave an shrine o Zayd ibn Suhan, ane o the companions o Ali.
