Fisher cat

The fisher cat (Pekania pennanti) is a wee carnivoran mammal o the faimily Mustelidae. Fisher cats bide on the continent o North Americae.^[1] Despite the name, the fisher cat isnae a cat an disnae eat fish. 'Fisher' comes frae the auld Dutch wird fisse or visse, which means a foumart or its pelt.^[2]
