Thar wis an auld discussion on whither this mountain shuid be spelt Mount or Munt. Haen consulted ma Concise Scots Dictionary buke (2nd Edition), the primary spellin is mount. Can I suggest you check the Scottish Corpus an aw, which will give you more confidence than just a dictionary check.
