Chemolgan, or sometimes Shamalgan, (Kazakh: Шамалған, Roushie: Чемолган) is a rural community near Almaty in Kazakhstan. It is notable as the birthplace o current Kazakhstani preses, Nursultan Nazarbayev[1]
