Ane Thoosand an Ane Nichts (Arabic: كتاب ألف ليلة وليلةKitāb alf laylah wa-laylah) is a collection o Wast an Sooth Asian stories an folk tales compiled in Arabic during the Islamic Gowden Age. It is eften kent in Inglis as the Arabian Nights (Scots: Arabian Nichts), frae the first Inglis leid edition (1706), which rendered the title as The Arabian Nights' Entertainment (Scots: The Arabian Nichts' Entertainment).[1]
