Object history
Deutsch: Die obere Schildhälfte enthält den goldenen Zickzackbalken aus dem Wappen des Benediktinerklosters Scheyern, das vom Wappen der Klostergründer, der Grafen von Scheyern-Wittelsbach, hergeleitet ist. Das Kloster Scheyern war seit dem 12. Jahrhundert in der heutigen Gemeindemarkung begütert. Das Eichenblatt und der Fichtenzweig symbolisieren den Gemeindeteil Lohhof, der von �Hof an der Lohe�, also von Hof am lichten Mischwald, hergeleitet ist. Lohhof hat sich seit 1929 rasch zu einem bedeutenden Gemeindeteil entwickelt. Unterschleißheim wurde im Jahr 2000 zur Stadt erhoben.
