Zabadani Destrict

Zabadani Destrict or az-Zabadan (Arabic: منطقة الزبداني‎) is a destrict (mantiqah) o the Rif Dimashq Govrenorate in Syrie. At the 2004 official census, the destrict haed a population o 63,780.^[1] The centre o the destrict is the city o Zabadani.

Till Februar 2009, the sub-destricts o Ayn al-Fijeh an Al-Dimas wur pairt o the Zabadani destrict afore bein incorporatit tae form the newly established destrict o Qudsaya.^{[citation needit]}

The toun-resort o Bloudan whilk is locatit in the Zabadani destrict, is amang the maist likit tourist destinations amang locals an foreigners.

Divisions

The destrict o Zabadani is dealt intae three sub-destricts or Nāḥiyas (population accordin tae 2004 official census^[1]):

Zabadani nahiyah (ناحية الزبداني): population 40,613.
Madaya nahiyah (ناحية مضايا): population 13,692.
Sirghaya nahiyah (ناحية سرغايا): population 9,475.
