Hello,

I noticed you repeatedly insert text in foreign language (English, rather than Scots) to The Walking Dead (TV series). Moreover, not only the text was in English, it was also copied from English Wikipedia without proper attribution, which means the text was inserted as a copyright violation - that is not only violation of Wikipedia policies, but also a violation of the copyright law.

Since you refused to discuss this case with Wiki13, I had to block you for 36 hours. Please keep in mind further violating of Wikipedia policies may result in a permanent revocation of editorial permissions.

Best regards,

I would like to add the following: as I already have pointed out re-use of content from other Wikipedia requires attribution. This is based on the Terms of Use. The terms of use are applicable to all users using Wikimedia projects. Content without proper attribution can be contested and could result in legal action. Hence why it is not allowed to copy content without attribution. As you refused to stop and even dicuss this issue, a block was issued. Furthermore, as Martin and me (multiple times even!) pointed out English untranslated text does not belong here. This is the Scots Wikipedia, not the Scots ("I'm an English Wikipedia clone") Wikipedia. Hopefully you understand this. --Wiki13 (tauk) 13:36, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[Replie]
@Martin Urbanec and Wiki13: "Sassenach" is a derogatory word for English people in Scots, and 1488 is a neo-Nazi symbol. I don't think they're here to contribute constructively. PiRSquared17 (tauk) 13:49, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[Replie]
@PiRSquared17: Hello, feel free to reblock the user if you feel that's warranted - I wanted to just stop apparent damage being done to the project. Best, --Martin Urbanec (tauk) 13:51, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[Replie]
I'm aware of what the term Sassanach means, but didn't know wat 1488 meant. Up to this point I assumed good faith of this user, but seeing the two terms together has made me change my mind about this user. If the user continues after this block I don't mind it being an indefinite block. --Wiki13 (tauk) 14:12, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[Replie]
