Template edits
[edit soorce](en) Hey, given how by your own admission you only just started learning Scots, do you really think it's a good idea to be making main page templates? Just looking over them, they're poorly translated (as far as I can tell nobody has ever spelt history as "hystory" for example, and eight is "aicht" or "echt"), full of red links which frankly makes them pointless for the front page (because the idea of these links is to direct people towards those articles) and just taken from enwiki without thought of how appropriate they'd be for a wiki of this size. If you want to use this place to learn/practice Scots, I'd rather you draft an article in your own userspace first CiphriusKane (tauk) 17:21, 21 Mairch 2025 (UTC)
- Alright. Sorry for this. I would happily learn Scots in my own time. You can draft the other templates I’ve made. Thanks for the help. B33net (tauk) 17:23, 21 Mairch 2025 (UTC)
- Done. I apologise if this came across as brusque. I appreciate the enthusiasm and like I said, feel free to draft an article instead. I actually started an RfC to discontinue the OTD section (due to lack of maintenance/being a relic of enwiki), but getting people to respond is like pulling teeth...
