Correcting bad Scots

If you don't know Scots, it would be a good idea to be careful with your edits, because supposed corrections may end up doing more harm than good. I'll be the first to admit that I don't know a lick of Scots, but I'm a bit skeptical that your recent edit is correct. For example, how did the month of May become "Kin"?
