(in Inglis) Forgive me. I am Canadian.

Which dialect are you using?
These spellings of yours, amongst others, are not standard in Scots Wikipedia:

  • dother
  • secunt
  • Schule o Art
  • fur
  • Scotlan
  • short story
  • buik
  • singin
  • has
  • bin

Our standard practice here would be more along the lines of:

  • dochter
  • seicont
  • Schuil o Airt
  • for
  • Scotland
  • cutty story
  • beuk
  • sangin
  • haes
  • been

This does not mean we are right, and you are wrong. Not at all.
We do have many users here who think Scots is misspelled English.
Therefore I would like to establish your intention, since we are still clarifying our standards for Scots here.
Many users opt for the least English-looking spelling they can think of.

My apologies for the Canadian English, Varlaam (talk) 18:53, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[Replie]
