The Manat is the siller o Turkmenistan. It wis introduced on 1 November 1993, replacin the Roushie ruble at a rate of 1 manat = 500 ruble.[1] The ISO 4217 code wis TMM an the manat wis subdividit intae 100 tenge. The abbreviation m is sometimes uised, e.g., 25 000 m is twenty-five thoosand manat.

On Januar 1, 2009 the new manat wis introduced wi ISO 4217 code TMT at the rate o 5000 auld manat tae 1 new manat.[2]
