Thomas de Mahy, Marquis o Favras (Mairch 26 1744 – Februar 19 1790) wis i French nobleman an the Marquis o Favras (marquis de Favras) He wis a supporter o the Hoose o Bourbon during the French Revolution. Often seen as a martyr o the Ryalist cause, Favras wis executed for his part in "planning against the fowk o Fraunce" and is known for saying "I see that you have made three spelling mistakes" upon reading his daith sentence. During the reign o Louis XVI Favras wis created an officer in the guards o the Coont o Provence, later Keeng Louis XVIII o Fraunce.
