The Strategic Forces Command (SFC) sometimes called Strategic Nuclear Command, furms pairt of Indie's Nuclear Command Authority (NCA). It is responsible for the management and admeenistration of the country's tactical and strategic nuclear wappens stockpile. It wis creautit on January 4, 2003 by the Vajpayee Govrenment. Air Marshal Teja Mohan Asthana became its first commander-in-chief.
