A player's rankin is based on their performances in designated rankin tournaments ower the precedin two years, and i updated after every tournament. The warld rankings wae inaugurated i the 1976/1977 season an the point tariffs used to be set by the governing body, but the rankins transitioned to a prize money list i the 2014/2015 season.
