Natural vegetation is semi-desert, but agricultural production o maize, beans an fruit in the hivy clay soils is heichlie productive.[1]
As o 2005, the municipality haed 585 hoosehaulds wi a total population o 2,303, o whom 347 spoke an indigenous leid.[1]
