San Juan Cacahuatepec is a ceety in the Mexican state o Oaxaca, near the mairch wi Guerrero. It is locatit in the Jamiltepec Destrict in the wast o the Costa Region, OaxacaCosta Region. Its population in 1990, accordin tae The Columbia Gazetteer of North America, wis 3,116;[1] in 2006, it wis aboot 5,000.[2] Alang wi San Pedro Amusgos, it is a hivy centre o population for the indigenous Amuzgo.[2] The name Cacahuatepec is Nahuatl, translatin "Place o Cacao-bean muntain".[3]
