In tetrapod anatomy, the sacrum (/ˈsækrəm/ or /ˈskrəm/; plural: sacra or sacrums;[1] Laitin Os sacrum[2]) is a lairge, triangular bane at the base o the spine an at the upper, back pairt o the pelvic cavity, whaur it is insertit lik a wedge atween the twa hip banes.
