Ra or Re (Auncient Egyptian: 𓂋ꜥ, rˤ) is the auncient Egyptian solar deity. Bi the Fift Dynasty (2494 to 2345 BC) he haed acome a major god in auncient Egyptian releegion, identified primarily wi the midday sun. The meanin o the name is uncertain, but it is thoucht that if nae a wird for 'sun' it mey be a variant o or linked tae wirds meanin 'creative pouer' an 'creator'.
